Evolvent Grows in Federal Health IT with “Big Data” and Medical Logistics Contracts
December 05, 2011
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA – Evolvent Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of healthcare information technology services to the Federal Government, has recently won new and continued work in several areas to improve the lives of our nation’s warriors, veterans and their families.
Evolvent’s CEO, Bill Oldham, stated, “We are excited to see growth in critical key areas of the future of federal health IT, especially in ‘big data’ projects for CMS and in interoperability solutions across DoD and VA. Our deep expertise in the current and future requirements of federal health IT has us well positioned to continue to be of service in the coming years.”
Evolvent is pleased to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Health Information Management System (DHIMS) and Defense Health Services System (DHSS) program offices on the following tasks. This new work was awarded by the U.S Army Medical Research and Material Command (MRMC) / US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), the organization responsible for both the award and administration of the task orders.
- Healthcare Artifact and Image Management Solution (HAIMS) – Evolvent will continue support the HAIMS program, which is currently in Limited User Testing (LUT) in 10 different locations. This award calls for extending the number of LUT sites by nine while providing sustainment services. Additionally, Evolvent will provide system enhancements and training to update the application and its architecture, as well as provide Tier II and Tier III application, hardware and system support.
- Clinical Health Data Repository (CHDR) – Evolvent will conduct an analysis of the CHDR end-to-end transactions measured against CHDR performance requirements, including tracing transactions across multiple systems, identifying failure points in the transaction, detecting potential abnormalities that could impact reliable data transactions, providing analysis tools and reports, and enabling a real-time active monitoring program. Once we identify the enhancements that are necessary, we will ensure compliance with the requirements.
- DoD/VA Interagency Image Sharing Project – Evolvent will continue to support the DoD/VA Interagency Image Sharing Program, by providing systems support services to operate, maintain and sustain the availability, quality and timeliness of the currently deployed PACSIntegrator Image Sharing prototype. The PACSIntegrator Image Sharing prototype is a commercial product that provides capability and availability of stored images to medical treatment decision makers for patients requiring follow-up treatment. Evolvent will provide maintenance and replacement of existing hardware/software, and provide Tier II and Tier III support and system support for both existing and replacement hardware.
- Joint Medical Logistics Functional Development Center (JMLFDC) – Evolvent will multiply force effectiveness and increase performance measures, such as, operational availability/readiness and dependability (probability of mission success) while decreasing the demand for (and cost of) logistics support for the JMLFDC Hardware and Software Technical and Operational Support program. Evolvent will also perform installation, maintenance, configuration, support of a wide variety of hardware from many different vendors, work with supporting vendors for troubleshooting, replacement and repair, and optimize existing Information Technology (IT) management processes to improve operational efficiency across the suite of JMLFDC systems: Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), Joint Medical Asset Repository (JMAR), Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support Customer Assistance Module (DCAM), Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics Systems (TEWLS), and Common User Database (CUD).
Evolvent Technologies, Inc., was awarded a subcontract by IDL Solutions to assist IDL design, build, operate and maintain the Multidimensional Insurance Data Analytics System (MIDAS) for the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) of the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) within the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
- Evolvent will help build MIDAS on industry leading analytics, data warehousing and business intelligence technologies to ensure ease of maintenance and deployment during the life of the system.
